If you had told us a few years ago that church friends from two totally different generations would one day sit behind microphones together talking about wellness, faith, balance, and everyday life…we probably would’ve laughed.
But life has a funny way of bringing people together at exactly the right time.
Kelsi and I met several years ago at church, and despite the age difference between us, we quickly discovered something important: we shared many of the same passions and values. We both care deeply about living well — not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually too.

Over countless conversations and years getting to know one another we realized we were both searching for the same thing: Balance.
Not perfection.
Not fear-based living.
Not extremes.
Just a thoughtful, realistic way to care for the bodies and lives God has given us.
As a Family Life Educator and a Nurse Practitioner, we come from different backgrounds and experiences, but that’s exactly what makes this conversation so meaningful to us.
We believe there is wisdom to be found in both natural practices and modern medicine. We believe healthy living should feel sustainable, approachable, and life-giving — not overwhelming.
Somewhere along the way, the world started making people feel like they had to pick a side. All-natural or science-based. Crunchy or conventional. Wellness-focused or realistic.
But what if there’s a middle ground?
What if we can embrace healthy habits without fear? What if we can care for our minds, bodies, and spirits holistically while still appreciating modern advancements and technology?
What if living well doesn’t have to mean living in extremes?
That’s what this podcast is all about.
Through The Middle Ground, we hope to create honest conversations about wellness, faith, family, low-tox living, mental health, hormones, balance, and the everyday challenges of trying to live intentionally in a very noisy world.
Some episodes will be educational. Some will be funny. Some may challenge us — and maybe even you — to think differently.
But most of all, we hope this space feels welcoming.
Whether you’re someone who shops at a farmer’s market, someone who survives on drive-thru coffee, or someone trying to figure out where you even fit in all of this…you belong here.
We’re so glad you found us, and we can’t wait to explore the middle ground together.
